Vintage Brut 2012 is Veuve Clicquot’s 66th vintage champagne release. This expression is designed to showcase the prodigious harvest through challenging climate.

The grapes used are  exclusively from Grands and Premiers Crus, Pinot Noir (51%), followed by Chardonnay (34%), Meunier (15%) and the remaining 11% of wines are aged in large wooden casks (foudres).

Veuve Clicquot was founded in 1772 and has played in instrumental role in shaping the champagne industry as it is today. Founded by Madame Clicquot, who was an audacious, elegant and optimistic woman, which is what the brand aims to showcase today through their champagne. Located in Reims, France, the Veuve Clicquot vineyard is in the heart of the champagne region, both in quality and size. Covering 382 hectares, covering 12 out of the 17 Grand Crus and 18 of the 39 Premier Crus.
