Distillery Location
Isle of Raasay - Dun Cana (Sherry Cask)'s home is Isle Of Raasay Distillery distillery, in Islands.

Isle of Raasay Distillery is located on the Inner Hebridean Isle of Raasay in Northwest Scotland. The distillery is owned by R&B Distillers, founded in 2014 by Alasdair Day and Bill Dobbie, and was the first legal distillery on the Isle of Raasay when it opened in 2014. The company began to operate in September 2017 after receiving its distiller's license.

The distillery uses water from a Celtic Iron Age well. This water has a high mineral content derived from the island’s volcanic and sandstone rock. The whisky is distilled in copper pot stills and is matured at the distillery in a variety of oak casks.

    Sophisticated new whisky

Dun Cana is that rare find - a new young whisky that has the taste and character of its older and well established rivals at a price that reflects the quality but ultimately is great value. We regularly buy and drink whiskies from all over Scotland (and some further afield!) and without doubt Dun Cana can hold its own against its peers for taste and smoothness.

    Something special

This is a rather fine whisky and just a little bit special. Grab some while you can, it's getting quite hard to find!
