Glenglassaugh Sandend is distilled using mineral rich spring water and nourished by sea air which drifts through its warehouses.

Sandend is enriched in bourbon, sherry and manzanilla casks which brighten this expression with a tropical sweetness and a hint of sea salt

Glenglassaugh - Sandend's home is Distillery Location distillery, in the Highland region of Scotland.

The Glenglassaugh distillery is a malt scotch whisky distillery which restarted production in November 2008 after being acquired by an independent investment group. Following a complete refurbishment by the new owners the distillery was re-opened on 24 November 2008 by the First Minister for Scotland Alex Salmond MSP who praised the company for their commitment to using the traditional equipment and methods to once again make the unique whisky which is produced at Glenglassaugh.

    Nice hit.

    This has a really nice hit which takes you by surprise after a few sips. Luckily I can't pour a measure. Soon be time to decide what's next.
