A whisky distillery was founded in Cambus in 1806. It or another was re-established by John Mowbray in 1813 or perhaps 1836. In 1877 ownership was merged into the Distillers Company. The distillery was closed down in 1993.

Distilled on the 21st of September, matured in a Hogshead (#59269) and bottled on the 13th of August 2021, this single grain from the Cambus Distillery was independently bottled by Lady of the Glen and boasts notes marmalade, dried banana and paraffin wax.
An outturn of just 296 individually numbered bottles.
