This is a dram from a bottle of Macallan Aera. Released in 2018 for the Taiwanese market, this beautifully presented Macallan has been matured predominantly in sherry-seasoned oak casks.
Distillery Tasting Notes:
Nose - Rounded and well balanced with vanilla notes, candied dried fruits, orange peel and sweet citrus.
Palate - Hint of chocolate, dried fruit richness, smooth honey with a sweet citrus burst.
Finish - Medium to long, with lingering vanilla and a gentle warmth.
