Distillery Location
Arran - 10 Year Old's home is Arran distillery, in Islands.

Arran distillery is a whisky distillery in Lochranza, Scotland, the only distillery on the Isle of Arran.

In 1994 Arran Distillers was founded by Harold Currie, former director of Chivas with the intention of building a distillery on Arran.  During the construction of the distillery, a pair of Golden Eagles built their nest on a cliff near the distillery; since Golden Eagles are a protected species, construction of the distillery was temporarily halted. The distillery opened in 1995.

    Smooth and creamy

A lovely smooth and creamy dram, sweet, not harsh at all even though bottled at 46%, it has a long lasting finish that makes you go back for more. So easy to drink and one of my favourites, in fact so much that this is my second bottle from Still Spirit, where I first tried this.

    Arran 10

A delicious whisky, quite different from the pleated ones ibusually gravitate towards. Not complex, but absolutely superb. Clearly expertly made and cared for. Now one of my favourites.
