With a brand name inspired by the Northern Lights, Aurora Spirit Distillery is located at Lyngen Resort, under the majestic Lyngen Alps in Northern Norway. The brand name Bivrost comes from old Norse language (a bridge between heaven and earth, guarded by the fierce god Heimdallr) and is also one of the names used for the Northern Lights.

Funded by Innovation Norway and established by friends Hans, Tor and his wife Anne-Lise, the world’s northernmost distillery opened in the summer of 2016.
