ABOUT THE DISTILLERY / BOTTLER

Springbank distillery is one of the last surviving producers of Campbeltown Single Malts. The distillery, located on the southern Kintyre peninsula, produces three distinct types of single malt Scotch whisky.

Springbank is one of only two distilleries in Scotland to perform every step in the whisky making process, from malting the barley to bottling the spirit, on same premises: the other is Kilchoman Distillery who also grow their own barley. While a few others still maintain the first step in the process, the malting of barley (which is becoming more rare), Springbank also bottles their own whisky.

Three variants of single malt are produced from its distillery by tweaking the production process at various stages;

Springbank Single Malt is the most popular variety, Longrow Single Malt is a highly-peated, double-distilled whisky and Hazelburn Single Malt, the newest variety.

    Lovely Whisky!

    A great addition to my whisky cabinet! Interesting as a blend from all 5 distilleries - and a great price too.

    I would definitely recommend giving this a try.

    Almost perfect blended malt!

    It’s for sure my go to “daily” dram. I’ve bought already a fourth batch and I have to say every one of them were really good. You can’t find Springbank? Buy Campbeltown Loch! It’s young, robust and having all 5 distilleries characteristics. Springbank, Glen Scotia, Hazelburn, Kilkerran and Longrow, that’s what it is. Just in younger age but always matured in good casks.

    One of the best whiskeys I have tasted!

    Only newish to the whiskey scene (5 years) , but tried loads in my short time. Was a massive fan of the Glenfarclas 105, Aultmore etc. but having tried this (AND ITS A BLEND ! ) , I was gobsmacked at how incredible it was. Will be buying more bottles of this bad boy ! 10/10 must buy !

    Blended joy

    My first Cambletown whisky. I have to say this is very smooth stuff, if a little immature and uncomplex in taste, but very good despite this . Very easy on the palate, and I could have been tempted to drink several more drams.
