Glenlossie whisky distillery is located in the village of Thomshill, south of Elgin. Originally founded in 1876 by John Duff (previous manager of Glendronach distillery), H. Mackay and three other business partners. H Mackay subsequently took full ownership of the distillery in 1896 before selling to Distillers Company Limited in 1919. Ownership of Glenlossie transferred to Scottish Malt Distillers (now Diageo) in 1930.

Distilled on the 8th of October 2010, matured a traditional Hogshead for 7 years before a finishing period in an Ex-Ruby Port Barrique (#8646) and bottled on the 25th of August 2021, this single malt from the Glenlossie Distillery was independently bottled by Lady of the Glen and boasts floral and fruity notes.
