    An excellent dram

The 12 year old sherry oak is one of, if not the best of the core range Macallans. It is reasonably priced, very smooth on the palate you can really taste the sherry influence.

    Macallan 12

This is a pleasant ,smooth whisky with the obvious sherry traits

    It’s an easy drinker

What it lacks is excitement,, bursts of flavours and complexity

Nice to have in the cupboard for a midweek dram
